About the PNW Biker Information Guide
The PNW Biker Information Guide was originally created on February 11, 2006 with a limited website for motorcycling information in the Pacific Northwest.
Using the feedback from the PNW Riders, a community of motorcycle riders in the Pacific Northwest, we put a team together dedicated to making the best Pacific Northwest motorcycle information guide possible! We really gathered in the feedback and started to outline what was missing in the Pacific Northwest – what did motorcycle riders need and what would they use – and we started building the bigger, better PNW Biker Information Guide.
The biggest part of the PNW Biker Information Guide is the rating system for motorcycle dealerships and service companies. Often times, we hear feedback about various motorcycle dealerships and we as motorcycle riders need to know where we can go for our motorcycling needs. What if a dealership had the worst sales team but an awesome service department? This is just one of many reasons why we need a good rating system. We’ve broken down our rating system for motorcycle dealerships and service companies into three easy areas to rate: Sales Department, Service Department, and the Parts Counter. So help out other riders and share your experience by rating any and all dealerships, independent service mechanics, motorcycle retail stores, and more.
We have compiled an exhaustive list of every motorcycle-related listing you could imagine from dealerships and service; food and dining; motorcycle organizations and clubs; motorcycle rider resources such as lawyers, insurance, and licensing; motorcycle road racing tracks, schools, and organizations; and travel and transportation information such as ferry schedules, hotels, campgrounds, parks, and visitor information centers.
Using the dealerships and service section of the listings, you can find every authorized dealership for your motorcycle, trailers, scooters, ATV’s, utility vehicles, snowmobiles, watercraft, and where to get repairs or motorcycle parts and accessories. We have also included every independent location you can take your bike as well as retail outlets, but if you don’t see a place then please contact us and let us know so we can get it included within the directory.
The food and dining section is always going to be growing. We want to list the spots that are motorcycle-friendly and the great places we always tell our fellow riders about. If it’s a coffee shop, café, bar, or restaurant, please let us know so we can add it – helping out other riders in the area.
Motorcycling organizations and clubs help bring together the communities of motorcycle riders, and we know there are many of them! That’s why we have this section, to help out riders with finding a club or organization. If you don’t see your club or organization listed, please contact us so we can get it added.
Motorcycle riders often need help from additional resources, so we are building that resource list for the Pacific Northwest area, including rider safety and training locations; motorcycle licensing and inspection locations; where to get motorcycle insurance, financing, or legal assistance; and various motorcycle-related publications and artists within the area. If you see something missing, or would like your resource added, please contact us so we can start letting other riders know.
Motorcycle road racing is part of the Pacific Northwest, and it involves all types of motorcycles. Find out more about the region’s race tracks, race schools, and race organizations.
Travel and transportation incorporates the things that we as motorcycle riders need to know. We have ferry schedules, hotel and motel information, motorcycle shipping companies, area parks, and visitor information centers.
As you expand farther into the PNW Biker Information Guide, you will find motorcycle events, rides, and rallies; motorcycle classifieds; and articles about motorcycle-related topics.
Everything about the PNW Biker Information Guide is made available for free to every motorcycle rider, whether they already live in the Pacific Northwest or is just passing through. With the help of every rider, we hope to continue to build upon this biker guide and continue to have the best possible resource for all motorcycle-related information regarding the Pacific Northwest region.
For the rider on the go, be sure to visit the site on your mobile phone or PDA – as we have designed a mobile version of the site for accessing this information from your mobile phone.
The PNW Biker Information Guide is all about you, the motorcycle rider, so take us with you the next time you need to find something motorcycle-related in the Pacific Northwest.
